Michaela Burriss

Michaela Burriss is running for Ohio State Representative because the things that made her life possible are under attack. Her family struggled with instability. The social systems of public education and food stamps, alongside compassionate neighbors, allowed her to rise out of poverty, obtain two higher degrees, and launch a career in public service. She has gone from homelessness to homeownership. She understands working families and will effectively fight for them at the Statehouse.
