George Syrop

George Syrop is seeking re-election to the Hayward City Council to continue fighting for the working families of his hometown. After running a corporate-free campaign and winning office in 2022, George successfully pushed the city to strengthen renter protections, open a new fire station and homeless shelter, provide free bicycles & bus rides to students, attract new businesses citywide, and become the first city in the U.S. to divest from corporations profiting from the genocide in Palestine.
