Corey is a dedicated public servant and community activist committed to eliminating inequality and promoting collaboration among marginalized groups to drive meaningful change. As the Chief Impact Officer at Person to Person (P2) in Darien, he oversees services for approximately 28,000 individuals in lower Fairfield County, providing essential support such as food, clothing, housing assistance, and economic opportunities. With a background as the Chief Development Officer at the Children's Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC), Corey played a key role in securing record revenue for the organization. Active in politics for nearly ten years, he has held roles such as President of the Connecticut Young Democrats and Vice President of the Western Connecticut State University's Alumni Association. Corey also contributes nationally as a trainer for the Young People For - People for the American Way program. In addition to his professional roles, he serves as Vice-Chairman for the Mayor's Multicultural Council in Stamford and sits on the boards of several organizations, including the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Fairfield County and the Ferguson Library. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Corey earned a degree in political science from Western Connecticut State University and currently serves as a State Representative on various committees focusing on appropriations, higher education, and employment advancement.
