Balvir Singh

Assemblyman Balvir Singh is a dad, mathematician, and public school educator with nearly two decades of experience. He began his public service on the Burlington Township school board and later won a seat on the Burlington County Board of Commissioners in the history-making 2017 election, helping Democrats secure their first majority in 44 years.

In the Assembly, he has championed common-sense gun safety laws, sponsored legislation requiring the Attorney General to study the use of artificial intelligence in law enforcement, introduced consumer protections to stop the revival of time-barred debt lawsuits, and co-sponsored legislation to eliminate unfair public pension tiers. His focus remains on practical solutions that enhance public safety, protect civil rights, and expand opportunities for working families.
