Ahmed Karrar

Ahmed Karrar is an attorney and community development consultant running for Illinois State Senate, District 14. Ahmed has spent his career advocating for vulnerable communities and helping direct real investment into communities of color. As the son of Sudanese immigrants, he understands firsthand the challenges facing Black and immigrant communities. Ahmed is running to rebuild trust in government by rejecting Donald Trump's politics of division and advancing a politics rooted in community, joy, and bold investment in working people.
