Whitney Echenique

Whitney Echenique was raised in rural Tennessee, where overcoming hardship shaped her commitment to public service. Her background includes 15 years in transportation and logistics, years of international study and teaching, and more than two decades working in professional baseball. She and her husband, an immigrant from Venezuela, own a small business in downtown Dalton, GA, and are raising two young children. Whitney believes that when we strengthen families, we strengthen our communities.
