Molly Gene Crain

Molly is a common sense, no nonsense candidate running for Kentucky State Senate. Her campaign seeks to reinvigorate the livelihood of rural Kentucky communities by championing for Families, Farms, Funding for public schools, infrastructure and economic development plans, and to Fix Frankfort. A native of Senate District 27's small town of Flemingsburg, Molly is co-owner of the Crain Family Farm there with her sister. Molly is also a lawyer and runs a common ground policy solutions firm, Kestrel Consulting, with her husband Rob Fenton in Lexington, Kentucky. The product of two agricultural legacies in the district: Crain's Tobacco Warehouse and the Bluegrass Stockyards, Molly knows deeply the struggles of farmers and their families, and will do everything she can to be the advocate and public servant they deserve. From increasing access to mental health services, giving teachers and school support staff a raise, to restoring access to reproductive health care, Molly will work to ensure a better future for the next generation.
