Lexi Melton

Lexi, a Tennessee native, is deeply rooted in her community. Growing up with the support of her single mother, grandparents, aunt, and uncle, Lexi learned the importance of family, resilience, and community. She graduated from Harriman High School and continued her education at UTC, where she was actively involved in Kappa Delta sorority and rekindled her relationship with her now-husband, Zach. Despite facing personal obstacles, Lexi obtained her A.A.S in Nuclear Medicine Technology from Chattanooga State Community College and now works as a PRN Nuclear Medicine Tech at an outpatient imaging facility. She currently resides in Hartsville with Zach and their children, Addie and Thatcher. With a strong healthcare background and a commitment to progressive values, Lexi seeks to make a positive impact in Tennessee House District 35. Her advocacy focuses on equitable education, gun safety measures, government transparency, and amplifying diverse voices in politics.
