Ashley Emerick became passionate about the reasoning behind the financial strain her peers also endured after experiencing what it is like to struggle in the local economy. Now, she’s working to lead the way for Western Maryland’s protection by running for the Maryland State Senate. She wants to provide opportunities for students, tackle affordability by holding corporations accountable, and protect our water and electricity from data centers.
