Jessica Spillers

Jessica, a dedicated Manchester resident, focuses on improving public education. In her first term, she supported initiatives like introducing a dual language immersion program and establishing a stricter cell phone policy across the school district. She also played a pivotal role in advocating for the construction of a new elementary school in Jan. 2025, contributing to the Long Term Facilities Plan Phase 1.

Currently serving on the Student Conduct Committee and the Education Legislation Committee, Jessica pushes for the expansion of support systems for students with behavioral and mental health needs. She is recognized for her efforts, being named NH Young Democrat of the Year in May 2024, alongside her MBOSC colleagues.

Balancing her career at DHHS, marriage, and parenting three children, Jessica remains committed to her community's well-being. She believes that enhancing education benefits the entire city and prioritizes advocating for important educational matters at both state and local levels. Jessica's comprehensive approach to education policymaking underscores her dedication to meeting current community needs while planning for future generations.
