Dr. Max Cooper, an ER doctor, Navy Veteran, Healthcare activist, and Township Commissioner from Delco, PA, is a candidate for County Council with a focus on rebuilding the healthcare landscape in the county. His experience as an ER doctor in Afghanistan and his tenure as a township commissioner have equipped him to address the healthcare crisis in Delco, especially in the wake of the financial troubles at Crozer Health. Max is dedicated to supporting critical healthcare systems, such as Crozer, and developing regional solutions for Emergency Medical Services and psychiatric infrastructure. With a background in public service and a deep commitment to healthcare advocacy, Max is uniquely positioned to lead the county council during this crucial period of rebuilding.

Outside of his political endeavors, Max co-founded the Committee To Protect Healthcare, where he analyzes policy and budgets to advocate for prescription drug affordability, universal health coverage, and reproductive freedoms at the state level. He currently resides in Wallingford with his wife, Dr. Nicole Cooper, and their two sons, Teddy and Nate.
