Patricia Ann Geronima Hernandez, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, represents hope and resilience in Missouri's 19th State House District. Growing up in a politically active family, Patricia draws inspiration from her grandmother's involvement as a delegate in the '70s. Her advocacy was sparked by personal experiences, including the tragic loss of her cousin to gun violence and witnessing her sister face discrimination as a Queer individual. These events have fueled her commitment to creating positive change. With deep roots in the Hispanic-majority district, Patricia has a strong connection to her community, where her family has been proud homeowners for generations. She is actively involved in various organizations, including the Greater Kansas City Women's Political Caucus and the Samuel U. Rodgers Board. Patricia's professional background includes nonprofit work focusing on homelessness, and she currently serves as the Program and Development Assistant at Metro Lutheran Ministry. Dedicated to amplifying the voices of the marginalized, she is passionate about addressing the needs of her constituents and honoring her family's legacy through her political endeavors.
