Eli Woody

Eli, a former teacher, now works for an educational nonprofit engaging middle and high school students in competitive speech and debate. Raised in Northeast Kansas, Eli frequented the local Boys and Girls Club where his father served as the Executive Director. With a family legacy of public service, Eli resides in Kansas City, KS, with his wife, Amy, their son, Theo, and their two dogs, Luna and Tonks.

Motivated by the challenges hindering his students' education, Eli aims to address issues like healthcare accessibility, transportation, affordable food, housing, and wages as a candidate for the Kansas House of Representatives. Having encountered these obstacles firsthand, Eli is dedicated to enacting policies that benefit both youths and adults in Kansas and beyond.

Passionate about advocating for women's reproductive rights, Eli draws from personal experiences in his and Amy's journey to parenthood. Committed to championing these rights, Eli’s campaign reflects a broader commitment to creating positive change in his community and state.
