Bryan "Bubba" Fish

Bubba is a dedicated public servant and LGBTQ+ leader committed to creating safe and inclusive communities. With a background in improving street safety and accessibility, he currently serves as a Transportation Deputy for Metro Board Chair and LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn. Previously, he worked in Government Affairs at the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), focusing on expanding transit services and addressing traffic-related issues.
As an LGBTQ+ advocate, Bubba co-founded Culver City's official Pride celebration, promoting diversity and sustainability. Involved in housing and homelessness initiatives, he served as the Vice Chair of the Housing & Homelessness Committee in Culver City, advocating for affordable housing solutions.
Bubba holds a Masters in Public Policy with a concentration in Urban Policy from UCLA’s Luskin School of Public Affairs. Running for City Council, he hopes to address housing challenges and represent the LGBTQ+ community. Bubba resides in East Culver City with his husband, Aaron, and their dog, Walter. If elected, he would be the city's second openly LGBTQ+ Councilmember and the youngest on the Council.
