Carly is a passionate 28-year-old community and union organizer from Saginaw Bay, focusing on youth opportunities, environmental justice, and neighborhood improvement. With a strong background in grant writing and fund acquisition, Carly aims to promote accessibility and sustainability in Saginaw's downtown area. She also serves on Saginaw’s Zoning Board of Appeals, bringing expertise in environmental justice, policy advocacy, and youth voter engagement.

Carly graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in History from Oakland University. She was honored with the 2023 Human Relations Award for her academic excellence and civic contributions. In addition to her community organizing work, Carly is an active member of Teamsters 243, holding roles as a steward and bargaining representative. She also works as an Organizer at the Michigan AFL-CIO, furthering her commitment to advocating for workers’ rights and social justice.
