Jason Ballmann

Fort Worth City Council, District 3, TX

2025 Endorsement

Jason's strong background in public service leadership and accountability has deep roots -- his mother dedicated two decades to our public schools, and his father served as a police officer for 25 years. As a former Marfa city council member, Jason led work on neighborhood safety, city infrastructure improvement, and protection against predatory real estate practices. He increased funding for the fire department, strengthened short-term rental regulations, and pushed forward a critical bond to repave city streets -- all tangible solutions that made a real difference in people’s lives.

With expertise in public health, safety, and technology, Jason has led disaster preparedness efforts and supported smart community safety policies. His platform includes addressing affordable housing, fair wages, public safety reforms, expanded healthcare access, and responsible development that strengthens neighborhoods instead of displacing residents. He will push for common-sense gun safety, investment in afterschool programs, and infrastructure improvements that benefit everyone.

Jason believes Fort Worth deserves leadership that listens, leads, and delivers results, not politics as usual. Together we can build a stronger, safer, and more resilient Fort Worth.
