Casey is a candidate for the Salt River Project District Board, At-Large seat 11, advocating for healthy and sustainable communities in the Valley. With a background as an attorney, voting rights advocate, and climate champion, Casey currently serves as the Voting Rights Director at Progress Arizona. She partners with non-profit organizations, labor unions, and community members to advance pro-voter and pro-democracy policies at the state legislature. Casey holds a BS in Public Service and Public Policy from ASU and a JD from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she focused on sustainability and environmental law. With experience at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Casey worked to ensure reliable and affordable energy while representing the public interest. Additionally, as a community organizer, she actively addresses the climate crisis. With her expertise, Casey aims to create a clean energy future for all, drawing on her ability to develop inclusive solutions to complex policy issues.
