Manny Rodriguez, 24, is a dedicated public servant and community organizer with a passion for supporting marginalized groups. A graduate of Eastlake High School and St. Mary’s University, Manny holds a bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in business administration. As the son of Mexican immigrants, he proudly broke barriers by becoming the first in his family to achieve a higher education degree.
Currently, Manny serves as the head of the Government Affairs Department at the El Paso Chamber, where he advocates for policies that promote economic growth and job creation in the region. With previous experience working for Texas members of Congress, Manny is skilled in managing casework, facilitating federal resources for residents, and coordinating high-profile visits.
Manny’s advocacy focuses on rebuilding public trust, supporting educators, and enhancing the quality of education in Socorro ISD. He is committed to ensuring that every student has access to the necessary resources to succeed while upholding accountability and supporting district staff. Manny envisions Socorro ISD as a community pillar that prioritizes its values and remains a top choice for families in El Paso.
