Truc "Christy" Lam-Julian

Christy, a first-generation Vietnamese American, is a chef, small business owner, and advocate known for her passion for community building. Born Truc Ngoc Lam, she is resilient and brave, influenced by her upbringing as the daughter of refugees. As a parent of a child with autism, Christy advocates for essential resources and excels at problem-solving. She founded East Bay United Against Hate and actively participates in councils and commissions, advocating for inclusivity and unity. Addressing issues such as housing, environmental justice, and climate change, she envisions a safe and sustainable community in Pinole.

Running for Pinole City Council, Christy aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, supporting diverse populations with comprehensive programs. Her goal is to foster a harmonious and vibrant community in Pinole.
