Ghassan Shamieh

Ghassan, a dedicated attorney, has a background of hard work and perseverance influenced by his immigrant parents. Starting his legal career with an internship at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Ghassan built a strong foundation for his work in law. With a focus on seeking justice, he advocated for the wrongly convicted at the Northwestern Law Center for Wrongful Convictions.

While studying at the University of San Francisco, Ghassan provided pro bono legal assistance to disadvantaged communities in Johannesburg, showcasing his commitment to social justice. In his role as an immigration attorney, Ghassan has helped numerous individuals achieve their goals of living in the United States. Currently, Ghassan is a candidate for Millbrae City Council in San Mateo County, where he aims to serve the community effectively. His vision includes fostering inclusivity and ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.
