Hector Bustos

Hector Bustos is the youngest and first openly out LGBTQ+ elected official in Santa Ana’s history. Hector has delivered results by centering academic achievement, expanding mental health supports, elevating student voices, and strengthening career technical education and internship pathways. As a proud product of SAUSD and rooted in the community that raised him, Hector is committed to protecting public education and building opportunity for the next generation.
