Amillia Heredia

Amillia, a dedicated advocate from Milwaukee's South Side, focuses on child-centered policies to drive positive change in her community. With a passion for diverse communities, she advocates for children's safety, healthcare access, transformative justice, and foster care system reform. Drawing on her experiences as a two-term UW-Milwaukee student government President and her current role as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), Amillia values collaborative leadership in impacting lives.

She believes in nurturing Milwaukee's potential through supportive systems for children's well-being. As a candidate for Wisconsin's State Assembly, she aims to use her advocacy and leadership skills to push for policy changes that prevent negative experiences and offer support to affected individuals, contributing to lasting community improvements.
