Victor Sims

Victor Sims is running for Polk County School Board District 3. Raised in foster care and having moved through 12 different schools, he knows what it feels like to be overlooked. Many missed his potential, but he never stopped believing in the power of education and community. His journey from feeling invisible to becoming a voice for others fuels his commitment to students, staff, and families. He believes that there should be no barriers for young people being able to achieve their dreams.
