Natalya Zernitskaya

Natalya, a UC Santa Cruz alumna residing in Santa Monica, brings a financial analysis background to her advocacy for progressive policies. With a passion for housing, justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and good governance, Natalya — an advocate for social and economic justice — draws from her refugee upbringing in Belarus.

Active in the Santa Monica Democratic Club, Human Relations Council of the Santa Monica Bay Area, and Climate Action Santa Monica, Natalya tackles issues like homelessness, housing affordability, public safety, and economic recovery. As a resident appointee on the City Council’s Audit Subcommittee and a California Democratic Party delegate, she works to drive change.
