Rachel Philip

Rachel Philip didn’t expect to run for Beaverton City Council when she began attending neighborhood meetings in 2020, concerned about wildfire smoke and her toddler’s health. Since then, she’s organized community events, served on multiple Beaverton committees, and helped shape long-term planning. Now running for Position 1, she’s focused on affordability, safe transportation, sustainability, and stronger civic engagement.
