Jaime Churches is a teacher, union vice president, and former member of the Michigan House of Representatives, who is running to reclaim the 27th State House seat. Jaime has seen firsthand how underinvestment in public education, small businesses, and working families has led to hardships and inequity for her community. Her frustration with a state legislature that does not always represent hardworking Michiganders inspired her to stand up for change and make an impact beyond the classroom.
