Joar Dahn

Joar Dahn is a lifelong resident of Darby Borough and a passionate public servant committed to creating meaningful change for his community. A proud Democrat, Joar has dedicated his life to public service; from leading a multimillion-dollar nonprofit as President and CEO, to serving on the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education’s Board of Governors, and working in the Pennsylvania State Senate.

Known for his visionary leadership and deep community roots, Joar brings a record of results and integrity to everything he does. As a mayoral candidate, he is focused on strengthening public safety through smarter community policing, enhancing youth and senior programs, supporting small businesses, and expanding access to homeownership.
