India May is a progressive nurse who’s running for the Iowa House for her grandma, who owns a small family farm, for her mom, who has earned a dignified retirement that corporate greed should never threaten, and for her kid, whose passion and talent for the arts should lead to a rewarding career someday. She’s running to pull the focus of the Iowa legislature away from culture war nonsense and corporate cow-towing and toward what Iowans really need: health care, clean water, and a sustainable economy.
