Zak Okuwe

Zakaria Okuwe is a graduate student at the University of South Dakota and a registered nurse at Sanford Health. Originally from South Sudan, he came to the United States at age nine and now calls Sioux Falls home. He founded STEM the Gap to mentor students and is committed to strengthening communities and expanding opportunity.
