Jake Ephros

Jake Ephros is a teacher, union organizer, and democratic socialist in Jersey City Heights. He led Jersey City’s Right to Counsel campaign, winning legal representation for tenants in housing court. He also fought alongside healthcare workers with 1199SEIU and has been active in local immigration justice organizing. Jake is running for city council in Ward D independent from corporate developer money to win universal rent control, universal childcare, and safe, clean, and green streets.
