Amanda Jozkowski

Dr. Jozkowski is a licensed occupational therapist and tenured associate professor at Towson University. With a passion for serving children, youth, and families, she is actively involved in volunteering within Carroll County Public Schools and the community. As a parent to three young children, Amanda brings firsthand experience to her role on the Family Life Advisory Committee and Curriculum Council, as well as serving as the PTA Advocacy Chair.

Drawing from a background rooted in education, Amanda values the importance of supporting school personnel and fostering a culture of academic excellence in schools. She aims to promote inclusivity, reduce bullying, and enhance school safety by creating a sense of belonging for all students and families. Through effective communication with local leaders and community partners, Amanda seeks to advocate for evidence-based practices that prioritize student well-being and academic success.

With a commitment to collaboration and community engagement, Amanda brings a unique perspective as a parent, healthcare practitioner, and researcher to her work on the Board of Education. By combining research-driven insights with empathy and dedication, she strives to drive positive change within the school system and empower all students to thrive.
