Tiara Mays-Sims

Tiara, an Autism parent and advocate based in Central Iowa, holds degrees in Psychology from Iowa State University and an MBA from Purdue University Global. With a professional background in Provider Relations & Contract Management at a managed care organization, Tiara also dedicates her time to serving her community. In 2021, she was elected to the Board of Education for Heartland Area Education Agency and holds board positions at organizations like the Red Cross of Central Iowa, Jungle Vine, and JPEAR. Additionally, Tiara serves as the Vice Chair of the Iowa Democratic Caucus and is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc, and Jack and Jill of America.
