Shantel Franklin

Shantel Franklin is running for Illinois State Representative to fight for housing, education, health care, and opportunity for every family in the 8th District. Raised on Chicago’s West Side, she overcame homelessness and attended eight public schools. A community leader, realtor, and public servant with a decade of legislative experience, including six years at the Illinois Attorney General's Office, Shantel is ready to put her experience to work for all families in the district.
