Brendan, a proud Michigan native hailing from Rochester, brings a wealth of experience in national security. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University, he held roles as an analyst in Washington, D.C. for Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin and the U.S. State Department. Currently, Brendan serves as a legislative aide in the Michigan State House of Representatives. Elected as County Commissioner in 2022, he holds the distinction of being the youngest county-level elected official in Metro Detroit. Brendan chairs the Legislative Affairs & Government Operations Committee and the Transit Committee, while also serving as the Vice Chair of the Economic Development and Infrastructure Committee. Additionally, he contributes as a board member for Acorn2Oak.
