Julio Mejia

Julio Mejía is the Executive Director of the Merrimack Valley Project and serves on the Greater Lawrence Technical School Committee. Born and raised in Lawrence, he is the second oldest of eight siblings to a Puerto Rican mother and Dominican immigrant father. In 2023, he made history as the youngest Dominican elected official in the United States. Julio brings his lived experience and commitment to organizing and uplifting families across the Merrimack Valley.
