Ryan James

Ryan James experienced homelessness with his single mother after the 2008 crash, regaining stability when she became a public school teacher. He’s dedicated his career to helping working families by leading youth programs, housing stability efforts, and workforce development for returning citizens. A proud dyslexia advocate and DEI practitioner, Ryan is fighting to move Cincinnati forward while lifting as we climb. He will be the youngest black man ever elected to the Cincinnati City Council.
