Jordan Acker

Jordan Acker was born in Detroit and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, the son of a lawyer and a public school teacher. After graduating from U of M in 2006, he worked on Capitol Hill and in the Obama Administration before returning to Michigan to practice law in 2013. He’s the first millennial to run for the U of M Board of Regents because he wants to make sure that a debt-free, quality education is accessible and affordable to all Michiganders. He lives five blocks from his childhood home with his wife Lauren and their daughters Jenna and Meredith.
