Priya Bhat-Patel

Priya has lived in Carlsbad for over 20 years. She has always had a strong desire to improve lives, which is why she pursued a career in public health after receiving her Master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Priya is currently completing her doctorate in public health from Loma Linda University. She believes there is no better way to serve her neighbors and her community, than by representing District 3 on Carlsbad City Council. Priya will focus her efforts on maintaining and improving overall quality of life by focusing on: community, health, and transparency.
