Emily Shetty

Emily is a progressive Democratic party activist, with a strong professional background in public policy and advocacy. She spends her days fighting for patients to get access to needed healthcare, and to help lower the cost of prescription drugs, and her nights organizing neighbors and friends to advocate for policies that impact them at the local, state and federal levels. She is a mother who believes that every child deserves access to a high-quality education, starting from pre-school. Emily is running in a competitive Democratic primary to serve as part of a three member delegation representing D18 in Maryland’s House of Delegates.
