Jake Thompson

Jake Thompson is an attorney and small business owner from Rockwell City, Iowa. He grew up on a farm, and he moved back home to begin his legal career after completing his studies at Grinnell College and the University of Iowa College of Law.

Once home, he was surprised and disturbed to see the main streets and schools suffering, while factory farms had sprung up unchecked across the countryside. He is committed to funding education, fighting for local control regarding factory farm placement, restoring the gutted collective bargaining in Iowa, and providing access to affordable healthcare.
