Rachel Ventura

Rachel is a native of Joliet who is the Business Director for an international publishing company and a single mother of twins. She’s volunteered in local schools, the Bicentennial Theater, and is a life-long member of the American Legion Auxiliary. As a Girl Scout and leader, she completed over 2000 hours of community service.

She has a Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Benedictine University and a biology degree from Tidewater College. She was a military spouse for ten years which allowed her opportunities across the United States such as: actuary, marketing manager, animal trainer, pet nurse, naturalist, and substitute teacher.
