Elizabeth Bennett-Parker

As a small business creator and nonprofit leader, Elizabeth works to build an Alexandria that provides opportunities for all residents. She leads Together We Bake, a nonprofit job training program for women in need. She is the founder of Fruitcycle, which fought food waste by turning fruit that would otherwise go to waste into healthy snacks. Elizabeth previously worked for the National Governors Association on issues related to transportation, economic development, and health. She is a former Fulbright Fellow, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University, and received a Master's degree from the University of London.
