Tyler Murphy

Tyler, a lifelong Kentuckian, is a public school teacher running for Fayette County School Board (District 2) in Central Kentucky. Tyler teaches history in neighboring Woodford County, where he serves as the President of his local teachers' association and a member of the School Based Decision Making Council. Tyler is passionate about education and public service, working as an administrator with the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program, serving as a mentor to college students at Transylvania University, and volunteering in his downtown Lexington church community.

Tyler has been an advocate for progressive causes at the state, local, and national levels for most of his life.
