Rigel Robinson

As the former external affairs vice president of UC Berkeley's student government, recent graduate Rigel Robinson has represented the students of UC Berkeley at every level of government, from City Hall, to the Governor’s Office, to the halls of Congress. Four years ago, Berkeley residents redistricted District 7 into the nation’s first student supermajority district — with the hope that, someday, students would elect one of their own to be their voice in City Hall. Now, Rigel is running for Berkeley City Council, because it’s time for students to have a seat at the table.
