Jackie Collett

Jackie is running for State Legislature because she has a vision for a more inclusive, compassionate, and equal Nebraska. She believes that all children deserve an equitable education, and healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Jackie worked in education and healthcare-related nonprofit organizations for over 13 years. As Executive Director of an organization providing after school and summer programs to l low-income families, Jackie led collaborative efforts that demonstrate how much communities can accomplish when we all work together. A product of Omaha Public Schools, Jackie received the Pacesetter Leadership Scholarship to the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) where she received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s in Public Administration.
