Sarah Flickinger

Sarah Flickinger is a mom, coach and active community volunteer running for Council Member in the City of San Luis Obispo. As a (nearly) lifelong local, Sarah has a deep commitment to protecting a sustainable future for San Luis Obispo, its people, economy and natural environment for generations of future residents. She grew up in Los Osos and attended public schools before moving into San Luis Obispo to pursue her degree in journalism. She believes that a positive, inclusive path forward starts with leadership that embraces diverse viewpoints and empowers residents to take an active role in the city’s future.
