Jorge Pacheco Jr.

Jorge Pacheco Jr. was born and raised in the Oak Grove School District, taught elementary and middle school Ethnic Studies in his community for the last 6 school years, and is now running to serve the district and its 10,000+ students as a school board member. As a teacher, he knows what educational excellence looks like, and as a queer indigenous person of color, he knows why equity and justice are vital yet missing in our education system. Jorge wants to make sure that his district and its students receive a just, equitable and excellent education for generations to come.
