Arthur 'AJ' Valenzuela Jr.

AJ believes that higher education should be free! He was born and raised in Ventura County with a passion to reinvest in his own community. AJ attended Ventura College where he served as the Student Trustee for the Community College District and later transferred to UC Santa Barbara. AJ has also worked for then-Assemblymember Das Williams where he covered higher education, local government, and education policy, but now works as a Casual Longshoreman at the local Port. AJ has supported multiple progressive candidates in the Central Coast and is now taking the plunge to run for his local Community College seat!
