Michael Joseph transformed his life through education. He graduated at the top of his class from Miami Edison Senior High School earning a scholarship with the 5000 Role Models of Excellence organization and later a Thurgood Marshall Fellowship scholarship to attend law school.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters in Public Management from Florida International University and his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law; all while he was working for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, an experience which further guided his perspective of the government’s role in serving the people.
Today, Michael Joseph is an attorney with a focus in civil rights and land use. He and his wife Asia were married at the Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach. Together they own their home in the Victory West neighborhood of North Miami Beach, Florida where they reside with their son, Alex.
