Thomas Merolli

Tom Merolli is the Economic Development Chair and assistant treasurer for the Town of Mendon and a lifelong resident of the Worcester-Norfolk district. He has been working on the grassroots level organizing to make our local area a better place and has decided to take the next step and run for office. He was the assistant director of non-profit fundraising office in Boston, which ran a successful fundraising campaign for the ACLU funding the successful court case which found same sex marriage to be the law of the land. He helped organize alumni for a successful school override vote, and was on the committee which helped pass the local historic district in Mendon. He is running against a Republican incumbent so that the towns of the Worcester-Norfolk district can have a senator who fights for working families, environmental protection, civil rights, and a thriving future for the region.
